Our Winemaking
Winemaking Philosophy
At Mollers Lane, we are dedicated to creating unique, artisan wines that embody the essence of our vineyard and the passion we pour into every step. As vignerons, we maintain full control over our vineyard, carefully managing pruning, canopy growth, plant protection, nutrients, irrigation, and harvesting—all with the goal of nurturing the finest fruit possible.
Rooted in the principles of the Slow Wine Movement and inspired by the Slow Food philosophy, our winemaking is guided by values of good, clean, and fair practices. We emphasise sustainable methods, respect for terroir, and the support of the local community while avoiding industrial inputs and fostering biodiversity.
Our hands-on approach includes hand-picking our grapes, hand-plunging in open fermenters, and pressing with a locally crafted basket press that has seen many vintages. Each Pinot clone is vinified separately and matured in carefully selected seasoned barrels to ensure mindful oak integration. We proudly hand-bottle our wines onsite, sealing them with the world’s most advanced and greenest micro-granulated cork.
At Mollers Lane, every bottle tells a story of dedication, sustainability, and respect for the land, delivering wines that are as authentic
and vibrant as the vineyard itself.
