Scenic landscape with a pond surrounded by grassy fields and trees under a partly cloudy sky.

Wadawurrung Country, Bellarine Peninsula, Victoria

Once a thriving hub for agricultural crops, the property, including its charming farmhouse, had been left untended for some time when we purchased it in 2019. We quickly recognised its potential as the perfect canvas for crafting exceptional wines. The impressive dam offers a dependable water source to nurture healthy vines, while the diverse slopes, each facing a different compass direction, provide unique sun exposures and microclimates—ideal for experimenting with an array of grape varieties.

The property is safeguarded by a Significant Landscape Overlay, which protects its picturesque views, native vegetation, and waterbodies, while ensuring the preservation of its character as a working farm landscape.

We are proud to collaborate with the Bellarine Landcare Group and the Indigenous Plant Nursery, whose support and inspiration have been pivotal in our efforts to regenerate our 20-acre site. Together, we’ve planted over 1,000 local indigenous trees, plants, and shrubs to help restore biodiversity to the area. Our property is uniquely blessed with two watercourses that flow through it, forming part of the catchment network feeding into Lake Connewarre and its internationally recognized wetland system. We’re also grateful for the invaluable assistance of Conservation Volunteers Australia, who have contributed to bringing our planting efforts to life.
